      <image:caption>Yoga on the Square was established in 2005 by Jyoteeka Cummings. It is based at Westside Chambers in the Square of Palmerston North. There are classes for beginners through to experienced students. Private sessions are available on request. At Yoga on the Square, the poses are taught in the tradition of the Iyengar system. They are done dynamically so as to make the body strong and supple. Instruction is given on how to align and fine tune the postures as this brings more energy into the body, as well as bringing focus to the mind. The poses, when done correctly, have various physical and psychological effects, improving health and maintaining an overall sense of well being.</image:caption>
