SKI & YOGA ADVENTURE : JAPAN, 17th January 2021 for 7 nights

Jyoteeka and Olivia are excited to be able to invite you to an all inclusive week of Yoga, Skiing and Sightseeing in Hakuba, a ski resort 270km west of Tokyo. Come to enjoy, relax and have fun at this amazing winter retreat! This is a great opportunity to have some new experiences and make some new friends. Grab a friend or come by yourself. We will cater for all levels of Ski ability and Yoga abilities. The package includes

Yoga Retreat - Easter 2020, April 10-13th

Yoga Retreat In Siem Reap, Cambodia with Rosie and Jyoteeka 2020

28th June to 5th July 2020

Location: Navatu Resort, Siem Reap

The 2020  retreat will  be held at Navatu Resort which is based close to the centre of Siem Reap. See more about the resort on there website Navutu Dreams Resort and Wellness Retreat  It is a really special place which will be conducive to moving deeper into our Yoga practice. 

The Package Includes:

  • Yoga Sessions: 6 days of classes with one afternoon off to explore Ankor Wat for those who want to. Adding a couple of days to your retreat might be a good idea if you want to fully explore the temples.

Central Otago Cycle Yoga Trip: Anzac Weekend 23th April to 27th April, 2020.  -

Currently fully booked, waitlist available

I am pleased to again offer the Yoga Cycling Weekend in Central Otago to cycle the Clutha Gold River Trail.

Timed to best view the changing of the seasons in Central Otago.

This includes 4 morning Yoga classes, Bike Hire, 4 nights share twin accomodation in Lawrence TownHouses,  transfers from Dunedin Airport and to and from the cycle trail. 

Does not include your food or airfares to Dunedin.

We are currently planning to fly into Dunedin  on the 23th April. From here we will be taken to Lawrence (about 1 hour drive). We will fly out of Dunedin on the 27th around 3pm. You are welcome to join us in Lawrence if you want to come from Queenstown or spend time in Dunedin. 

This will be the 6th time I have hosted this long weekend and it is always a great success. I look forward to another great weekend. Contact me for more details or to book your space.

Why join a Yoga Immersion Course

Practising Yoga creates an opportunity for us to learn about ourself.  The practice will give us tools to support ourselves in our daily life.  Studying Iyengar yoga develops and deepens your experience of yoga practise; transforming knowledge into understanding.

A Yoga Immersion course can lead yoga students towards becoming self-reliant yogis & yoginis (yoga practitioners). This course is designed as a perfect way to honour the desire to experience the art & science of yoga more deeply, regardless of where the path may lead. We invite you to join us in an exploration of this profoundly transformative art & science that is YOGA.

This intensive will be a progressive learning experience. It is a structured course that will guide in furthering the understanding of yoga asanas and the fundamentals of yogic philosophy. The emphasis is on ‘how to do’ and ‘how to practise’ Iyengar Yoga:

Practise – Abhyasa & Vairaghya     Method – Yogasana    Philosophy – Darshana

Day One:  6pm - 8pm - Orientation/Overview & Restorative Practice

Day Two, Three, Four and Five:

7.30 -9.30am = Practice: individual sequence provided for all levels: Level 1 (no inversions), Level 2 (includes inverted asana)/ Level 3 (more advanced asana). Sue will watch your practice, give advice & adjust each student if/when needed.

12pm - 3.30pm - Q&A + Lecture/Philosophy + Asana in Detail (practical)

24th November is Departure Day, The afternoon session will be 3 hours. .

Yoga Teacher Deveopment Seminars

November 26th to 29th 2020

This seminar is designed for Yoga teachers who are taking the next step in their development by working with the syllabus of Intermediate Junior & Senior Asana Series in Iyengar Yoga and for yoga teachers from other styles that are looking for guidance and support in deepening their skills in teaching to students of all levels and capabilities. 

These structured Yoga Teacher Development Seminars - YTDS primarily consist of practical and experiential learning delivered in group contact sessions. Also included is a practical approach to yoga philosophy which underpins and sustains a classical yoga practice. 

The Yoga Teacher Development Seminars offers pathways to a more varied experience for the practitioner/teacher, which is vital to hallenging personal development and nurturing maturity.

Day one- 7pm to 9pm - Orientation/Overview 

Day two & three - 7 -9.30am - class taught by Sue

12 - 3.30pm - Q&A + Asana study, practical methods for adjusting

Day four - Assessment practice or personal practice with feedback from Sue. 

Conclusion - 10.30 -12noon.

Cost - $450 early bird rate, please pay deposit before 1 September

Regular Rate - $480

Suzi will join us for a Sunday Workshop. Suzi has taught Yoga at Four Winds Yoga in Auckland for 25 years. She has taught teachers workshops and retreats through out NZ.
