SKI & YOGA ADVENTURE : JAPAN, 19th January 2020 for 7 nights

Jyoteeka and Olivia are excited to be able to invite you to an all inclusive week of Yoga, Skiing and Sightseeing in Hakuba, a ski resort 270km west of Tokyo. Central Otago Cycle Yoga Trip: Anzac Weekend 25th April to 29th April, 2019.

I am pleased to again host the Yoga Cycling Weekend in Central Otago to cycle the Clutha Gold River Trail.

Timed to best view the changing of the seasons in Central Otago.

This includes 4 morning Yoga classes, Bike Hire, 4 nights share twin accomodation in Lawrence TownHouses,  transfers from Dunedin Airport and to and from the cycle trail. 

Does not include your food or airfares to Dunedin.

We are currently planning to fly into Dunedin  on the 25th April. From here we will be taken to Lawrence (about 1 hour drive). We will fly out of Dunedin on the 29th around 3pm. You are welcome to join us in Lawrence if you want to come from Queenstown or spend time in Dunedin. 

This will be the 5th time I have hosted this long weekend and it is always a great success. I look forward to another great weekend. Contact me for more details or to book your space.

Yoga Retreat In Mission Beach, Cairns  with Rosie and Jyoteeka 2019

30th June to 7th July 2019

Location: Eco Resort, Sanctuary Mission Beach Resort

The 2019  retreat will  be held at Sanctuary Mission Beach Resort which is 2 hours south of Cairns. See more about the resort on there website www.sanctuaryretreat.com.au. It is a really special place which will be conducive to moving deeper into our Yoga practice.

  • Yoga Sessions: 6 days of classes with one afternoon off to explore the reef for those who want to.

Classes with Jyoteeka - General Students and Beginners welcome - Class times 7.15am -9.15 and 3pm to 4.30pm

Classes with Rosie - Experienced Students and Teachers welcome - Class times 9.30am to lunch and 4.30 to 6pm

Why join a Yoga Immersion Course

Practising Yoga creates an opportunity for us to learn about ourself.  The practice will give us tools to support ourselves in our daily life.  Studying Iyengar yoga develops and deepens your experience of yoga practise; transforming knowledge into understanding.

A Yoga Immersion course can lead yoga students towards becoming self-reliant yogis & yoginis (yoga practitioners). This course is designed as a perfect way to honour the desire to experience the art & science of yoga more deeply, regardless of where the path may lead. We invite you to join us in an exploration of this profoundly transformative art & science that is YOGA.

This intensive will be a progressive learning experience. It is a structured course that will guide in furthering the understanding of yoga asanas and the fundamentals of yogic philosophy. The emphasis is on ‘how to do’ and ‘how to practise’ Iyengar Yoga:

Practise – Abhyasa & Vairaghya     Method – Yogasana    Philosophy – Darshana

Day One:  6pm - 8pm - Orientation/Overview & Restorative Practice

Day Two, Three, Four and Five:

7.30 -9.30am = Practice: individual sequence provided for all levels: Level 1 (no inversions), Level 2 (includes inverted asana)/ Level 3 (more advanced asana). Sue will watch your practice, give advice & adjust each student if/when needed.

12pm - 3.30pm - Q&A + Lecture/Philosophy + Asana in Detail (practical)

 5th November is Departure Day, The afternoon session will be 3 hours. .

Suzi will join us for a Sunday Workshop. Suzi has taught Yoga at Four Winds Yoga in Auckland for 25 years. She has taught teachers workshops and retreats through out NZ.
